Sand Hit the Ceiling!
These sooty rafters were a result of a fire in a commercial building that works with cloth items. The cloth was apparently greasy, and burst into flames. This caused severe damages to almost everything inside the building, including the 18 foot high ceilings. These before and after photos are meant to show one method of soot removal, sand blasting. You can notice how the before looks like its meant to be black, but you can clearly tell in the after photo what the sand was able to remove. Here at SERVPRO of Coos, Curry, and Del Norte Counties we are known for getting creative on job sites, whatever it takes to get the job done, and make the owners happy.
